Binfone Telecom was founded in the early 2000s by telecom entrepreneur Justin Newman. Binfone offered one of the country’s first “self-sign-up VoIP services” where folks could sign up and immediately self-provision VoIP service to connect their Asterisk boxes to the PSTN. Since then, Binfone was acquired by Voiceinc, which ultimately became part of Voxology Group. In 2025, Moose Networks (part-owned by Justin) acquired Binfone Telecom from Voxology Group as Moose sets out to carve out space as a boutique provider of VoIP services to business.
